1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CRE Redline ("the Service"), operated by CRE Redline ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CRE Redline is an AI-powered document summarization tool. The Service reads Microsoft Word (.docx) documents containing tracked changes and produces plain-English summaries of those changes. The Service is a document comparison and summarization tool only.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CRE REDLINE, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS, OR ASSIGNS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES ARE BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, COST, OR EXPENSE ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO: (I) ANY ERROR, OMISSION, OR INACCURACY IN ANY AI-GENERATED SUMMARY OR OUTPUT; (II) ANY DECISION, ACTION, OR INACTION TAKEN BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY BASED ON OR IN RELIANCE UPON ANY OUTPUT OF THE SERVICE; (III) ANY FAILURE OF THE SERVICE TO IDENTIFY, DETECT, OR ACCURATELY DESCRIBE ANY CHANGE, CLAUSE, TERM, OR PROVISION IN ANY DOCUMENT; OR (IV) ANY FINANCIAL OR COMMERCIAL CONSEQUENCE RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE.

5. Assumption of Risk

You expressly acknowledge and agree that your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, reliability, and non-infringement.

You acknowledge that AI-generated content is inherently imperfect and may produce results that are inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or that fail to capture material terms or changes in your documents. You agree that you bear full responsibility for independently verifying all outputs of the Service before relying on them for any purpose.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CRE Redline and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable professional fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) any reliance you or any third party places on any output of the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

7. Document Handling and Privacy

Documents you upload are processed by our servers and by third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude) to generate summaries. We do not sell your documents or their contents. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload any document you submit to the Service and that doing so does not violate any confidentiality agreement, privilege, or applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the documents you upload. We retain all rights to the Service, including its software, design, and branding. AI-generated summaries are provided to you for your use but we make no representation regarding your ownership of such outputs.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, and 10 survive termination.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CRE Redline with respect to the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether oral or written.
