Your documents,
handled like documents.

A lease under negotiation is confidential. Here is exactly what happens to it.

Where your documents live

Uploaded files are stored on a single server we operate, in a directory that is not web-served and not shared with any other product. Records (deals, findings, open items, digests) live in a Postgres database on the same host, in a schema used only by CRE Redline.

Nightly, the uploads directory and the database schema are backed up with fourteen days of retention.

The original file is the source of truth for every citation, so it is kept for as long as the document exists in your account. Delete the document and the file goes with it.

Who can see them

Only your account, and the accounts on your Team plan, can open a deal. There are no shared workspaces across customers and no support access to your documents without you asking for it by email.

Sign-in is by a six-digit code sent to your email. Sessions are signed cookies that are revoked on logout. Every request checks the deal belongs to you or your team before returning anything.

Share links are read-only, expire, and can be revoked. They show the digests you sent and, only if you choose, the open items and the LOI conformance table. They never show your notes or AI suggestions you did not include in a digest.

How AI processing works

The list of changes is never produced by a model. It is read from the Word file's own revision marks, or computed as a comparison between two versions.

Interpretation, the abstract and the LOI check send the relevant passage of your document to the Anthropic API, one clause at a time, with the business terms of the deal as context. Under Anthropic's API terms that content is not used to train models.

Every value the model reports about your document is verified against the document text before it is shown. A quote that is not in the file is dropped, not displayed.

Retention and deletion

Documents, deals and your whole account can be deleted from inside the product. Deletion removes the files as well as the records. Backups roll off within fourteen days.

Payment records stay with Stripe as the law requires. We never see or store your card number.

Questions, or a deletion request you would rather send by email: hello@creredline.com.
